All About Recess

 Lining Up

Now line up and face

forward. Make sure that you
are quiet and squared up.
That means that you are in
a square behind the person
in front of you with your
toes pointing forward.
 Bryanna and
Connor are
squared up in
line with their
toes pointing
forward.
 Recess Rules

Be sure to follow all of the

rules when you are outside. Be
respectful to others. Do not
hit and do not say mean
things. If you see someone
doing something wrong, you
should try to explain the rules
to that person. Dont tattle!
 Connor is upset at Bryanna for not following the
rules. He should politely remind her of the rules.
 The Playground

Now, lets talk about the

playground. You can play on
the slide and the monkey
bars. The playground is a fun
place to play tag and hide
and go seek with your friends.
Connor and Bryanna are playing

 Recess Equipment
Next, we are going to talk
about the recess equipment.
Some of the items that you can
bring out are jump ropes,
soccer balls, juggling balls, yo-
yos, and diabolos. You can play
with the equipment as long as
you bring it back inside when
you are done.
 Connor and Bryanna are taking in the
recess equipment after they are done.

Finally, we are going to talk

about the fun things you
can do outside. Recess is
the time for freedom. You
can play with your friends
and talk about stuff. You
can use your outside voice!
