16. Szveg

A top model was molested by a waiter as she travelled on a crowded Tube train, a court
heard yesterday.
Suzanne Brind, who displays swimwear for fashion magazines, claimed - Turkish-born Erol
Sensever continually rubbed against her.
Dressed in a stylish jacket and trousers, she said: "I felt somebody very close. I thought it
may be the movement of the train. But I realised later it wasn't, that it was on purpose. I
looked round and I saw a foreign looking man. It was just .going through my mind that this
could be on purpose."
The alleged assault took place during the London rush-hour on a day when temperatures hit
35 degrees.
Police followed Sensever onto the train after they saw him watching women on the platform
at Oxford Circus on July 9 last year.
Sheila Gaylord, prosecuting, told Southwark Crown Court: "He stood right behind the
victim."
When Sensever, who had been drinking, stepped off the train he was arrested. Sensever
denies indecently assaulting Miss Brind.
He said, "I wasn't aware of anyone around me in particular because it was too crowded and I
was not able to move."
The trial continues.
