Recommendation Letter for Brandi Simmons

To Whom It May Concern,

I have known Brandi since June of 2014 when she started her employment at First Lutheran Preschool &
Daycare. Brandi started as a caregiver in the infant room and was promoted to her current position as Assistant
Lead Teacher in the toddler room in January of 2015. During the years I have worked with Brandi I have been
struck by her dependability and willingness to whatever is asked of her, while maintaining a professional
attitude. Brandi has proven herself to be devoted to her work as well as a trustworthy employee. She is a valued
member of our team.

As an Assistant Lead Teacher, Brandi is responsible for helping to provide an enriched learning environment
including motor skill development, social emotional development, early literacy, sensory, and art. She is also
responsible for supervising staff, training new staff, scheduling employees, and opening and closing duties.
Brandis job requires daily communication with parents, co-workers and supervisors while maintaining the
strictest of confidentiality. She has a clear understanding of the necessity and she does well at adhering to
confidentiality mandates. Brandi has come in early and stayed late to cover shifts and she has worked in other
rooms when needed. Brandi has kind and friendly interactions with all children, parents and staff she encounters
at our center.

Brandi is well liked by her co-workers and supervisors, as well as parents and children. I admire Brandi for her
willingness to accept direction, her sense of responsibility and work ethic, and her loyalty and honesty. I
strongly recommend Brandi as a candidate for the student teaching experience.
