It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Melissa Watts.

For the past two years I have known Melissa while she has been a student in the Health Science
Program where I work as a para professional. During this time, I have found Melissa to be a
hard working student who is a pleasure to have in the program. While in the Health Science
Program, Melissa continues to strive to do her best. She has taken advantage of the Certified
Nursing Assistant Course and the Alpena Community College Nursing Math Course which were
both offered within our program. Both of these classes require extra curriculum above and
beyond her normal classwork which is a college level medical terminology course. She has also
been attending work site at Lakeview Manor two days a week. As you can see from her extra
course work, she is able to manage her time very well.

Melissa carries a 3.7 GPA and takes her education seriously. While in school, she has been
involved in the National Honor Society, 4-H and Youth Group since 2015. She has been a
member of the Tawas High School Choir since 2013. Melissa volunteers her time with such
organizations as the Iosco County Fair, Perchville Petting Zoo, Balloon Festival, Project Red,
and on the Watts Family Farm.

Melissa plans to pursue an education as a registered nurse and I believe she will reach this goal.
I highly recommend Melissa for any scholarship opportunities you have available as you can be
assured she will use these funds to further her education and obtain a degree. If you have any
