Abstract

On May 09th 2016, our course of Civil Engineering and Environment went to field visit to

Worldwide Landfills Sdn Bhd. Participation of our members. Main aim of this in the surrounding, field

visit was to study the solid waste management practice sanitary landfill and gain some knowledge from

it. This field visit arranged br Dr. Norhayati binti Ngadiman. As we started from University Tun Hussein

Onn Malaysia at 4.00 am. The morning we were welcomed by a cold. We arrived in Worldwide Landfill

Sdn Bhd at 11.30 am. The field visited were begin with assemble in their office. Then we were given talks

about how the landfills work. It is very good knowledge and experiences for us. Besides that, we were

also given advice about how to manage the solid waste when we are at home. We look the landfill

maintain, how it work and facilities are there. We spent that under a shelter studying and sharing

knowledge on Worldwide Landfill.

Recommendation

- add breadth to facilitate landfill solid waste sanitation

- use the latest technologies regarding the waste treatment by studied other countrys such as

Japan & German

- build more proper road to the lorry bring the trash.
