I would like to recommend Julie Camolesi de Silva for any scholarships or positions that she
may apply. I got to know Julie as a student in my social studies classes here at Tawas Area
High school. She came to us as an exchange student from Brazil. Her good work ethic,
manners and positive attitude made her standout amongst her peers.

Julie is a very conscientious student. She would come to class prepared and ready to learn.
She has already developed an excellent understanding of English. She would participate in
discussions and led others through positive example. Overall she is an outstanding student,
however, grades arent the only thing that matter to Julie. She seemed to have a genuine
interest in the subject matter we covered.

Her personal qualities are perhaps her best attribute. She is an easygoing person that is a
pleasure to get along with. She is well liked by her peers. She is very unassuming and is a
good listener. She is very serious and curious about the world around her but she is also quick
with a laugh and a smile. She has all the tools for becoming successful in life.
