Dear Walter:

This is a final follow up letter on your patient, Nora Lucas, who you will recall, was
admitted to Sunrise View Hospital in February 2011 for aortic valve replacement
with a diagnosis of aortic stenosis. Nora has some swelling of her hands and feet
and has gained considerable weight since surgery.

She needs continued close medical observation of her prothrombin level,

which should be maintained at about 20% of normal indefinitely.
She should also be maintained on Lanoxin and may possibly require diuretics
intermittently.

We will not follow Nora any further for her heart disease. She has had an
uneventful postoperative course and can continue her medical follow up through
your office or that of Dr. Herbert Delft, whichever you decide.

Thank you very much for letting us see this patient with you and perform her
surgery. We will be glad to see her at any time if there are any questions
regarding her valve function or clinical course.

Sincerely yours,

Emery R. Stuart, MD

Xx
