Job Title: Well Site Engineer (Dri ing/Completions) Position Description Tob Tith Well Site Engineer (Drilling/completions) Department: Well Engineering Location: Wellsite (onshoreloffshore) and WE operations office Reports To: ‘Senior Drilling Supervisor (Rigsite) Senior Drilling/Completions Engineer (office) Interacts With: Internal External: Well Engineoring staff. Drilling Contractor staff. Petroleum Engineers and Exploration Service company staff. Geologists. Third-party supplier C&P Advisors. representatives, EHS Advisors. Job Purpose: Provide well engineering support to Tullow operations while going through an intensive structured development programme. This is a training position but entails real responsibility from day-one, The work will be executed in field and office locations around the world therefore a fair amount of flexibility is required. Extensive on and off the job training will be provided, complemented with appropriate supervision / coaching / mentoring and culminating in certified Well Engineering competency. During periods at the wellsite: Participate in toolbox safety meetings, JSA and PTW audits. Provide general assistance to the Drilling and completions Supervisors as well as the Logistics Co-ordinator as instructed. Compile casing, liner and tubing tallies. Perform cementing calculations, Witness leak-off tests, pressure tests and BOP tests. Supervise service providers at the wellsite to ensure good quality deliverables (logging, coring, cementing, directional, fishing, mudlogging, drilling fluids, completions, subsea, filtration services etc) Update and maintain general well files and maintain the EOWR operations summary. Facilitate, and document, onsite After Action Reviews to capture operational lessons learned. During periods in the local operations office, prior to, and after, wellsite assignments: Preparation of appropriate documentation for risk assessment, hazard identification and DWOP/CWOP processes. Perform hydraulics, torque and drag and ECD modeling, Assist in the preparation of data for statutory submissions to the regulatory authorities. Prepare well barrier diagrams. Witness QA/QC work on critical ser out. Pre-spud or pre completion operational support assisting in the proparation of load-out lists and daily cost tracking templates. Compile minutes of Well Engineering team meetings, co-ordination and pre-spud meetings as appropriate. 1e company equipment prior to load- Assist in the preparation and compilation of Drilling and Completions End- Of-Well-Reports. jancial Responsibi nature, as operational witness, of third party service tickets. Edueation/Qualifications: B.Sc or B.Eng in an appropriate Engineering or Applied Science discipline or equivalent with a minimum of upper second class honors degree Skills: ‘Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of people. ‘A good technical understanding of the scientific principles of the associated disciplines of geology, mathematics, physics and chemistry. Ahigh level of numeracy with good IT skills. The analytical ability to think through potentially complex problems and develop a range of potential solutions.
