To Whom It May Concern:

It is an honor to write this letter of recommendation for Austin Williams. In my

association with Austin, as his football coach, I have found him to be a leader in every
sense of the word and a person of high character. He is a leader in the classroom, in the
hallways, in the weight room, and on the football field.
As a sophomore, Austin played varsity football and quickly earned a reputation as
a fierce competitor. He was a major contributor his junior year on a very solid playoff
team. His senior year he was elected captain by his teammates and was a force on both
sides of the ball. Austin was willing to play wherever his coaches asked him without
complaint, and excelled at each spot.
The toughness, work ethic, and commitment to doing the right thing will carry
Austin throughout life and allow for him to achieve much success in whatever he decides
to do. As a coach, I am hopeful that our football program will be fortunate enough to
have another player as complete as Austin.
What Austin brings to a football team makes him irreplaceable. He was an
exemplary captain and teammate. I consider it an honor and privilege to have had the
opportunity to coach him, and I fully recommend him for whatever award he is being
considered.
