@ Cho Ku Rei (Cho Koo- Ray") a Cho Ku Rei (‘Cho-Koo-Ray’) Or, Sei Hei Ki Cho Ku Rei turns Reiki energy on and off. It (Say — Hay - can also be used any time while giving a Kee") treatment to open up the client's energy field or @ to increase the power of the treatment. Think of the symbol in three dimensions, with Reiki energy being focused down a spiral, into the client. (See the Dai Ko Mio symbol card to understand how to use it in conjunction with the Master Power Symbol.) This symbol works on all levels: physical emotional, mental and spiritual. es / Drawing Tip The spiral loops through the line three times. If you'd like to keep track of whether you've drawn the spiral enough times, say one sylable of Cho Ku Rei each time you hit the top of the spiral — then e loop in forthe finish and you're done. Sei Hei Ki (‘Say — Hay — Kee") The divine and human spirit joining together. Sei Hei Ki is used when you want Reiki energy to address mental and emotional healing. It balances the right and left sides of the brain, bringing harmony and peace. It brings Divine and Human intentions into closer alignment. Use for any sort of emotional-mental distress such as nervousness, fear, depression, anger. sadness, etc. It is especially useful for healing relationship problems. Add into your session for healing addictions, improving memory, enhancing the use of affirmations. Drawing Tip Think of the symbol as a Japanese person — brow, eye socket, jaw, chin. And the bumps on the back are their hair tied into top knots Han Sha Ze Sho Nen (‘Hawn-Shaw-Zay-Show-Nen") The Divine nature in me greets the Divine nature in you to promote enlightenment and peace Sometimes called ‘the ether tube connection” this symbol sets up a link between you and a distant person, place, time or situation. By sending Reiki down this “tube” you can send Reiki to the past, to the future or work on a situation. People use this technique to help them with job interviews, tests, trips, surgery, anything you can imagine. Dai Ko Mio (Traditional) (‘Dai Ko Me-0") Han Sha Ze Sho Nen Drawing Tips Leam this as a series of groupings: Steps 15 Step 6 &7 Steps 9 - 14, (which looks like an old movie camera on a stand) Steps 16 — 18, (which looks like a frowning tent) Lastly 19 — 21, (looks like someone running with a ball of Reiki) Dai Ko Mio (Traditional) (‘Dai Ko Me-O”) Full Power Dai Ko Mio is used to invite the full power of Reiki energy Working at Reiki level 1 and 2, you use the Power Symbol (Cho Ku Rei) to drawn down Reiki energy. When working at Level 3, Cho Ku Rei is used to tum Reiki energy on and off and Dai Ko Mio is used to draw on Reiki at its, full intensity. Use the Power Symbol and Dai Ko Mio in these steps. 4. Tum Reiki energy on with the Power Symbol 2. Then draw in the full power of Reiki by using this symbol, the Dai Ko Mio. 3. When done, tum Reiki off with the Power Symbol Dai Ko Mio (Modern) (‘Dai Ko Me-0”) This is perhaps the most popular modem version of the Master Power Symbol. Think of t as a vortex of Reiki energy being channeled down from the top. from the thunder bolt, into an energy well (the spiral) to a center point, where the inceming energy will be focused Drawing Tips The swirl of the spiral has three loops around, just as you would do with Cho Ku Rei. The thunderbolt echoes this rhythm with three bolts of energy down into the spiral Dai Ko Mio (Modern) (‘Dai Ko Me-0") Raku (Thunder Bolt) —f Raku (Thunder Bolt) Thunder Bolt can be used for attunement chakra opening and treatments., although these functions are now being divided between Thunder Bolt and it's other form Serpent Thunder Bolt is now used for attunements and to intensify the power going into a treatment area. It can also bring a reverse Kundalini experience In ancient times the Thunder Bolt was used in reversed direction, drawn from bottom to top, to direct energy up from where it is physically rooted in the spine, toward heaven. The result was that the recipient would become more aware and awake to higher energies, becoming more enlightened Raku (Thunder Bolt) Drawing Tips It is drawn top to bottom. Think of it as pulling healing energy down from the Divine Source and directing it intensely to the area where the bolt ‘hits. The intensity of the healing then becomes like the intensity of healing that one gains from being attuned. Serpent The Serpent This is the modem version of Raku. The Thunder Bolt version used to be used for attunement, charka opening and to begin treatments. These functions are now being dividing between the Thunder Bolt and Serpent forms These days. Thunder Bolt is used for attunements and to intensify the power going into a treatment. Serpent is now used to open chakras before attunements and before treatments. Drawing Tip Each curve tums at a major chakra starting with the “umbrella” curving over the top of the crown chakra, ending with the coll at the root chakra Sequence Cards The following pages help you understand the sequence in which to use your Reiki symbols The sequence changes depending on your level of practice and what you are trying to do. However, don't be overwhelmed with the sequences. You'll soon see that there is a pattem to how they are put together.
