WELCOME
Welcome to our guide for Supa Dupa Fly x Santorini. We’ve included
everything here that we think you need to know regarding
the festival. Please have a good read & pass this onto
your friends if you booked on their behalf. We’ll also be
giving you printed copies of this when you come to collect your
wristbands. If you have any further questions, please email
us at santorini@supadupaflylove.com See you in June - we

Please note many of the roads in Santorini do not have names or

addresses. We have tried to be as accurate as possible by
providing google map links to all locations!
WRISTBAND COLLECTION

You will need to collect your festival wristbands and welcome

treats from our info point at Home Café on the afternoon of

Saturday 18th June from 3-7pm or Sunday 19th from 3-7pm. The café

is located on the main road from Thira (Fira) to Karterados,

Location map below and here. It’s 10 minute walk from the main

square in Thira (Fira). Here we can answer any questions you may

have too.

Please bring your ticket (e-ticket or physical) and also the

card you purchased the ticket with and photo ID to claim your

wristband.
EVENT SCHEDULE

18th June Supa Dupa Fly Warm Up Party @ Koo Club, Thira (Fira)
– 11pm-5am (last entry 1am)

Koo Club is located on the north end of cliffside and is the

biggest and most popular club in Santorini. The club has a huge

outdoor patio in a tropical setting with palm trees and three bars

that do the best cocktails you’ll be able to find! Perfect for our

warm-up party. This is in the alleyways in the main town of Thira

(Fira) & is within walking distance of all accommodation in Thira

(Fira). The club holds 1000 people so we’ll be letting in some

locals too! Coaches are not provided for this party. Location map

19th & 20th Supa Dupa Fly Full Moon Parties @ Theros Wave Bar,
Vlychada 10.30pm-5am (last entry 1am)

This bar is a hidden jewel of the southern beaches in Santorini and

is totally off the beaten track. Theros is located along from

the impressive rocky Vlychada at the exclusive beach Eros, right

on the edge of the volcano! It’s been voted as one of the best

beach bars in the Mediterranean and is the perfect destination for

a SDF party…. So good that we’re doing two there! Be prepared to

be blown away! Please note you cannot drive to Theros Wave

bar as there is absolutely no-where to park & it’s down an unlit

road in the middle of no where! Please book taxi’s well in advance

if you don’t have the coach package. Location map below and here..
Tuesday 21st June Supa Dupa Fly All Dayer @ Jojo’s Beach
Bar, Perissa 3pm-9pm

Just moments away from the stunning black beach in Perissa, Jojo

Beach Bar is the most famous beach bar in Santorini with a HUGE

sound system, enormous pool, loads of huge beds & loads more. Food
will be available all day. Location map below and here..

* On Sunday 19th June, we’re throwing a private 100 capacity

‘UK Garage Takeover’ Villa party from 3pm-8pm! This is for the

Garage heads only!!! If that’s you & you would like to come, please

email us asap on santorini@supadupaflylove.com (coaches won’t be

provided but it’s easy to get to by car or bus, about 20 mins from

Thira)

INTO ANY OF THE VENUES).

COACHES TO VENUES

TO THEROS WAVE BAR SUNDAY 19th & MONDAY 20th JUNE –

10PM COLLECTION FROM THIRA (FIRA) BOTH DAYS

Coaches are free with your wristband & will pick up from the coach
point in Thira (Fira) opposite the Kentro Igas Thiras Medical
Centre. Location map below and here. The coaches will be clearly
signed. Please allow enough time, if you miss the coaches it will
be very difficult for you to get to the venue! Each coach holds 50
people & it’s a 20 minute journey. Please note you cannot drive to
Theros Wave bar as there is absolutely no-where to park & it’s down
an unlit road in the middle of no where! Please book taxi’s well in
advance if you have an ‘entry only’ ticket.

For collection from Theros Wave Bar, coaches will leave

approximately every 30 minutes from 2am (or as coaches fill up) &
drop you back to the centre of Thira (Fira). Approximate times are:
2am 2.30am 3am 3.30am 4am 4.30am
TO JOJO BEACH BAR, TUESDAY 21st JUNE 2.30PM COLLECTION FROM THIRA
(FIRA)

Coaches are free with your wristband & will pick up from the coach
point in Thira (Fira) opposite the Kentro Igas Thiras Medical
Centre in Thira (Fira). Location map below and here.

For collection from JoJo Beach bar, coaches will leave

approximately every 30 minutes from 6.30pm (or as coaches fill up)
& drop you back to the centre of Thira (Fira). Approximate times
are: 6.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm, 8.30pm, 9pm
There are very few taxi's in Santorini, about 40 on the whole
Island. It's not possible to hail cabs on the street & all need to
be booked well in advance. Therefore we need to stress how
important it is to be at the coach pick up points on time.
All coaches will be operated by www.nst-santorinitravel.com & are
fully insured.

RESTAURANTS

Santorini has some of the best restaurants we’ve ever eaten at,

and we know our food! Here are our favourites… All serve

traditional Greek Cuisine, and/or fresh fish. All are very

reasonably priced, even those with £££ are no more than £40

per head including a bottle of wine.

Thira
££ Nauoussa is very reasonably priced with arguably the best

Mousakka & Kelfteco you’ll find on the island! Will give a 10%
discount when you quote Supa Dupa Fly.

£££ Ellis is owned by the same people as Naoussa, but WAY more
bouji! Incredible fine dining but unpretentiously incredible Greek
Food. Get a bottle of their house Greek wine, it’s excellent. Will
give a 10% discount when you quote Supa Dupa Fly
£ Gyros Will give a 10% discount when you quote Supa Dupa Fly

£ Lucky’s Souvlakis Charges roughly 5 euros for a great

kebab! AND Lucky may even sing to you…

Vlychada
££ Psaraki does excellent fish and has beautiful views of the
traditional fishing harbour.

Monolithos
££ Mario fish tavern, in our opinion does the best fish on the
island. You pay by weight & it’s all freshly caught, no frozen!
CAR / ATV / BIKE HIRE
Santorini Motor Club will give a 20% discount for all car, bike and
atv hire. Email

THINGS TO DO IN SANTORINI
For everyone who wishes to explore the island, it takes
only 45 minutes to travel from one end of the island to the
other!

Watch the sunset from Oia…

Oia is at the very top of Santorini, where the sunset is famous

for attracting huge crowds. Get there at roughly 7.30pm to ensure
you get a good spot.

Visit a winery...

We suggest Sigalas in Oia, Canava Roussos in Mesa Gonia,

Estate Argyros In Megalochori, Santo Wines Winery (here you can
enjoy the beautiful sunset).

BEACHES
Perissa Beach & Perivolos Beach are a 30 min bus journey or a 20
min drive from Fira. Vlychada Beach is but about a 20 minute drive
from Fira.

WEATHER

The average daytime temperature is around 25-28 degrees mid June

with temperatures dropping off later into the evening (bring a
light jacket!).
MONEY

You will only need Euros for the festival and this is accepted in
all shops, bars, restaurants and the festival venues. There
are cash machines and money exchange facilities at most hotel
receptions and also across the island.

MEDICAL SERVICES

In case of emergency, please call (+30 22863 60300-4)

DRUGS WARNING

Don’t get involved with drugs. Penalties for drug offences

are harsh in Greece.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We would recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance

for your trip. Including European Health insurance. Get a free EHIC
card before you travel. More information can be found on the NHS
website.

PASSPORT

Look after your passport. Take a photocopy of your passport

with you, leave one at home & carry one with you.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

We’d recommend not bringing anything too valuable with you and keep
personal belongings locked away at all times just to be safe. Some
of the hotels will have safes in the rooms to store valuables.
SAFETY

Santorini is a safe and friendly place but please take care

of yourself & your friends as you would back home.

TIME ZONE

Santorini runs two hours ahead of time in the UK.

TAXIS

Fira, tel. +30 22860 22555. The taxi stand is in Thira (Fira), at
Theotokopoulos Square next to the bus station. They are very
limited (less than 40 on the whole island!) so it’s advisable
to only take one if you really need to. Although the fare for
each itinerary is determined by an official price list, it is
advisable to establish it before you get into the taxi.

BUSES

Τel. +30 22860 25404. The central bus station is at the Square of
Thira (Fira). You can find itineraries and time schedules in
www.ktel-santorini.gr.)
