Project Title: C and L-Band Interferometer as Galaxy Cluster Observatory Pathfinder

Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow / Digital Design
Engineer position in a DST-SERB funded project under the supervision of Dr. Siddharth
Malu and Dr. Abhirup Datta, Center of Astronomy, Indian Institute of Technology
Indore. Interviews will be held on June 22, 2017 at IIT Indore Simrol Campus, Indore-
453552.

date. Candidates should bring all original testimonials along with one set copy of the
same along with two passport-size photographs.

Eligibility: The minimum qualification for this position is M.Tech degree in Electronics
and Communication or Radio Physics and Electronics / M.E. in Electronics and
Communication Engineering/ M.Tech (or M.E.) in Control and Instrumentation/ or
equivalent / M.Sc. in Physics with Electronics as a special subject with NET/GATE
qualification/M.Sc. in Electronic Science with NET/GATE qualification.

Monthly Stipend: As per norms (i.e. about Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA (if hostel
accommodation is not provided))

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years for JRF as on 01.06.2017, relaxable up to 5 years
for woman/SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Duration: Initial appointment will be for 12 months, which is extendable up to a
maximum of 36 months solely based on performance.

Note : No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants.
