Worker Rights
 The right to know about all the hazards at
the workplace
 The right to ask for proper training
 The right to refuse to do something you
know is unsafe without being penalized.
Employer Rights
 The right to know if an employee has a
condition that prevents them from being
able to work with the set safety
procedures.
 The right to fire workers hat do not follow
safety procedures.
Worker Responsibilities
 The responsibility of asking for training
 The responsibility to follow safe work
procedures
 The responsibility of using personal safety
equipment
 The responsibility of identifying hazards
 The responsibility of never working under
the influence of alcohol, drugs, or if you
are overly tired.
Employer Responsibilities
 The responsibility of telling the worker of
the hazard at the workplace
 The responsibility of registering with
Worksafe BC and meet the minimum
standards
 The responsibility of training the
employees.
 The responsibility of investigating
incidents where workers were injured.
