the brake,” Connie Kalagayan, corporate communications chief of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, said.
“Some passengers fell like dominoes.”
Kalagayan was among the train commuters told to disembark at the Santolan station around 10 a.m.
She said the train took two sudden brakes between GMA-7-Kamuning and Santolan stations.
The MRT command center confirmed the train was hit by a technical problem. The agency said the
offloading of passengers is part of a standard protocol whenever its trains experience glitches.
