To show a physical adsorption depends on amount o adsorbent

Theory

Things required- 4 beaker with lids ,blue ink ,chalk of different amount and size a weighting machine

Procedure: Weight four different size of chalk. Take four different beaker add into it 1ml of ink in each of
the beaker and chalk pieces use in each cover for one day, next day take it out keep aside for ten minute
to dry then again wait. Find difference of weight.

Observation table:

Result: We find that the chalk piece of bigger size have highest amount of ink adsorped

Conclusion: More is the amount of adsorped more will be adsorption process
