This is kaphids Construction Inc. & The list below are the queries weve needed for the financial bid
proposal.

CEILING WORKS

1. Our computation based on the given plans the Total Area of Gypsum Board from 1st-3rd Floor is
approximately 2520 sq.m. While in the given BOQ is only 485.35 & 287.78 a total of 773.13
sq.m. Why is it too small? If not mistaken even if we approximate the ceiling area every floor it
gives a value around 800 sq.m. & another example is the multipurpose room which gives an
approximate value of 205 sq.m excluding the residential units.

S & I OF INTERIOR WALL PARTITION (3RD RES. FLOOR ONLY)

2. What do you mean by the NLB along 150mm & 100mm thk CHB Wall?
3. What do you mean by the CSM along Materials Cost?
4. 150m thk. CHB Wall
a. To hallway – The qty. we’ve computed is higher than the given BOQ. Kindly check po
mam/sir if there are some errors.
b. To Party Wall – Where exactly is this party wall located or being used?
c. To Kitchen – Is their really a kitchen wall partition? Or are you referring to the division of
every studio. Because in the plan we cannot identify the partition being said.
5. 100m thk. CHB Wall
a. To pipe chase - The qty. we’ve computed is higher than the given BOQ. Kindly check po
mam/sir if there are some errors.

RUBBED CONCRETE

1. We are not familiar with the rubbed concrete finish. Ask lang po namin if what type of finish is
this, since it’s not in the specification.

SKIMCOATING WORKS

1. Areas to be applied is not specified in the schedule of finishes & even in its specification. We
cannot validate the quantities or even know where it is to be applied.

INTERIOR PAINTING WORKS

1. The values in painting works may vary according to the changes in the connected items like for
example Gypsum Board. If it is proven that the quantity in the ceiling works has an error the
value also in painting works changes.
2. Fire Exit Stair & Balcony Doesn’t have a detail to verify the area needed to be painted. Can you
give us the detail? So that we can check the quantities. For Example: size of rails.
3. Along Metal Doors are you referring to both steel & Aluminium doors?

INSTALLATION OF TILES

1. Ceramic Tiles
 a. To floors
i. 300x300mm (FF-10) – We’ve computed 555 sq.m more or less basing on the
schedule of finishes for floors but based on your BOQ it is 289.60 sq.m only.
Even if we compute only the Multipurpose Room & Party it gives us a quantity
of more or less 277 sq.m excluding T&B how about more if we include it.
ii. 500x500mm (FF-09) – It doesn’t coincides with the schedule of finishes because
basing on it, it specifies 450x450mm not 500x500mm.
b. To Walls & Baseboard
i. 300x300mm (WF-8) & 100x300mm (WF-7) – It’s hard to verify the quantity since
the type of T&B is not indicated in the plan. It only specifies “T&B” not the Typ.
T&B1, T&B2 ……. ….. …. & etc. It will take time to check since most of the T&B
are almost the same.
2. Homogeneous Granite
a. 600x600mm (FF-7) – It is indicated in the schedule of finishes that along multipurpose
room FF-7 &FF-8 will be used. But how can we verify/validate the quantity between
each other if it is not indicated in the plan. Is it okay if you can provide as the detail in
differentiating the type of finish?

a. 800x2100mm (D-15) - The qty. we’ve computed is higher than the given BOQ. Kindly
