Spoken Presentation: The Flash.

Intro: Good afternoon guys, I talk about my favorite superhero, THE FLASH, I like this super
because I Found his history and super powers pretty interesting, also flash was the first superhero
that I really like it, because, I saw his movies, I read some of his comics etc.
Character Biography
Flash is a fictional superhero who appears in comics published by DC Comics. The character first
appeared in Showcase #4 (October 1956), created by writer Robert Kanigher and penciler
Carmine.
His Name of the most popular version of the flash is Barry Allen, most popular because is a
reinvention of a previous character called the Flash that had appeared in 1940s comic books as
the character Jay Garrick.
Barry Allen Works in the Police Department of his city (Central city) He is a Forensic Scientist, and
before he became the flash, Barry was a very slowly and lazy person.
He becomes the flash, as the result of being absent-minded and his devotion to crime-solving,
after he was shot by a thunder in his work.
Costume
The Flash wears a distinct red and gold costume (Costume’s flash are totally red, also you can call
“The red speedster”) the costume treated to resist friction and wind resistance, traditionally storing
the costume compressed inside a ring.
Love- Interest
Barry Allen has a fiancée, her name is Iris West, and she is a journalist, of Central City, throught
the comics and different histories, they had a lot of problems in their relationship.
She is killed by Professor Zoom during a costume party. Zoom vibrated his hand into her head,
solidifying it just enough to kill her.
¿What about his super-powers?.
 Immense superhuman speed

 Accelerated human physiology

 Body vibration to phase through objects
 Time travel .
Speed-Force.
This word has a lot meaningless, for the fictional superheros, because the speed force is a like a
power supply for his.
The speed force plays as a wall between the past and the future and plays as a limit of the matter.
That’s the reason why flash can travel around de all dimensions, he can trough the bareer of the
time and he can breaks this bareer or wall.
Most popular appearances.
Barry Allen's classic stories introduced the concept of the Multiverse to DC Comics, and this
concept played a large part in DC's various continuity reboots over the years. The Flash has
traditionally always had a significant role in DC's major company-wide reboot stories, and in 1985's
crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths, Barry Allen died saving the Multiverse, removing the character
from the regular DC lineup for 23 years. His return to regular comics occurred subsequently in 2008
within the pages of Grant Morrison's Final Crisis crossover story and Geoff Johns' accompanying
The Flash: Rebirth limited series. He has since played a pivotal role in the crossover stories
Blackest Night (2009), Flashpoint (2011), Convergence (2015), and DC Rebirth (2016).
Versions of The Flash
The differents comics and arguments about the flash have brought a lot of different versions of
flash.
The First flash was Jay Garrick, he was the first one that became the flash, later the female version
(Jessie Quick) was created.
All the Flashes have a common point, they was shot by a thunder.
Super-Bads (Villains).
Wheather wizard: he can manipulate the wheather, also he can make an earthquake, a tornado for
himself.
Reverse Flash: He is the opposite of the flash, throught the differents comics, he hates barry allen
because barry is the fastest man alive.
Future Flash: this is a new version of the actual flash, he hates barry allen, because he thinks barry
allen ruined his life.
The thinker: he is one of the most modern villians of the flash, while barry allen is the fastest man
alive, the thinker is the man with the fastest mind alive.
TV-Series.
The Flash is an American television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns,
airing on The CW. It is based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen / Flash, a costumed superhero crime-
fighter with the power to move at superhuman speeds. It is a spin-off from Arrow, existing in the
same fictional universe. The series follows Allen, portrayed by Grant Gustin, a crime scene investigator who
gains super-human speed, which he uses to fight criminals, including others who have also gained
superhuman abilities.
Initially envisioned as a backdoor pilot, the positive reception Gustin received during two appearances as
Barry on Arrow led to executives choosing to develop a full pilot to make use of a larger budget and help
flesh out Barry's world in more detail. Colleen Atwood, costume designer for Arrow, was brought in to design
the Flash's suit. The creative team wanted to make sure that the Flash would resemble his comic book
counterpart, and not simply be a poor imitation. The series is primarily filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada.
The Flash premiered in North America on October 7, 2014, where the pilot became the second-most
watched premiere in the history of The CW
