Objective:

To create a sustainable System for Taluk Legal Services Committees (A NGO working in the
field of Sanitization) that will help them increase their reach to different villages and to create
awareness on a larger scale regarding sanitization.

Description:

Taluk Legal Services Committees is a volunteer driven NGO Recognized by Tamil Nadu State
Legal Service Authority. We have contacted Mr. Riaz, an advocate and also a volunteer of the
NGO. They provide free legal services to the rural people. All the ongoing campaigns are
supervised by Tamil Nadu State Legal Service Authority. One of their campaign is spreading
awareness about Personal hygiene among the villagers of “Tiruvaiyaru”, Thanjavur (Tamil
Nadu). Our primary agenda is to conduct awareness campaigns in association with Taluk Legal
Service committee in different village of Thanjavur. We will be also travelling to different govt.
school for the same.

Methodology:

1) We will be visiting different villages of “Thanjavur“ along with the volunteers of Taluk
Legal Service Committee to conduct campaigns on “Sanitization”.
2) Will help Taluk Legal Services Committees in using their funds in a proper manner so
that their productivity can be increased.
3) Will try to convince school authorities to inculcate hygienic conditions in schools post
sanitization campaigns.
4) Will create awareness regarding diseases like malaria, typhoid and diarrhoea and how
to tackle them.
