Title of Training: School-Based In-Service Training for Teacher’s Computer Literacy through Word
Processing

I. Rationale
The existence of high technologies in this incessant trend of time urged the teachers in Talairon Central
Elementary School to take more time and efforts to become globally competitive. Though it can be said
that many factors contributed the low achievement of pupils but goals maybe slowly be uplifted if agent
of change are given opportunity to be trained on Word Processing.

To help equip teachers with enough knowledge and skills to keep abreast with the new technologies in
the country and for the realization of DepED goals , it is evident to train them of the said skill on June 30
– July 4 at 5:00P.M to 6:00P.M. & July 5 &11, 2008 at 1:00 – 4:00pm to be held in Talairon Central
Elementary School conference hall.

II. Objectives
1. Enhance knowledge on word processing.
2. Broaden the teaching capabilities of teachers.
3. Produce attractive instructional materials and computerized reports.

Central Elementary School Conference Hall

D. Expected Output
1. Enhanced knowledge on Word Processing.
2. Improved classroom instruction and pupils’ academic performance
3. Made attractive instructional materials and computerized reports at least one for each grading period
such as class program, class officers and top ten pupils.

Planning of Activities
Pre-training June 27, 2008
Make a training design for the training to be approved by the Principal, District Supervisor and Education
Supervisor Monitor.

Training Proper
The participants should be equipped with notebook, ballpen and etc.

Post-Training Activities

The participants are expected to make attractive instructional materials for their lesson, improve
classroom instruction and pupils’ academic performance through application of Word Processing
learned during the training.
