It is my pleasure to recommend Joshua Hartman for a teaching position at your school.

I am the School Counselor at Holly Ridge Elementary, a school of about 800 students in
Wake County, North Carolina. We had the fortune of having Josh on our staff as a
second grade grade teacher from 2008 to 2012, and a technology teacher from 2012
until 2013.

Josh is a dynamic and hands on teacher. He encourages, is kind and humorous, and
makes lessons fun and engaging. He uses foldables with students to help those with a
kinesthetic learning style. He helps every child find his or her talent, and nurtures it. He
incorporates the most relevant technology into every lesson, again helping students to
not only hear and see content, but to manipulate and experience it. He ensures that
every child learns, and every child feels cared for. He incorporates his passions of
photography, the outdoors, and technology into his teaching.
