How to make Isochore Maps in Petrel:

for example we have 2 horizone (A and B) and want make Isochore Maps for them:

1 - in input pane go to "well tops 1" and expand "Stratigraphy"


2 - you see well tops
3 - 1 click on below horizon (B). now you see "B" is bold
4 - when B is bold you right click on above horizone (A)
5 - then click on "Convert to isochore points"
6 - click yes
7 - now in input pane you can see new isochore point (A - B [Filter])
8 - go to Processes pane. than go to "Utilities" and double click on "Make/edit surface"
9 - now you can see Make/edit surface page
10 - click on cheak box of Name (right of page) and type a name
11 - in "Main input" box import "A - B [Filter]". in Attribute select "Thickness". in Boundry box
import boundry of reservoir.
12 - go ot "Geometry" tab. click on Automatic (From input data/boundary)
13 - go ot "Algorithm" tab. select "Isochore interpolation"
14 - click on OK
15 - now you have a Isochore map !)
