Over the few months that I made my observations on Aria in the Pre-K room, it was
evident that she made many strides in development with many different areas. Aria shows much
knowledge when it comes to speaking and communicating with her friends. She knows when to
comfort those that are around her or how to solve a situation within her classmates. If she was
having difficulty trying to solve a problem she knew to come to the teacher and ask for help.
Another thing that was very evident with Aria, was her curious mind with learning. She loved to
ask questions and try to learn as much as she could. Aria is a very determined individual who
would practice tasks until she was able to master them. You could see this when she learned how
to zip her jacket. Aria is a very well manner child, who is very energetic, kind, and warm. She
greets everyone who would walk into her classroom with either a “hi” or “would you like to play
with me?” She is very smart for her age and her communication level is very advanced. You
could say she was an advocate for the rules, as she would often remind her friends to wash their
hands or use walking feet in the classroom. Coloring and writing are a favorite for Aria, you
could always find her in the writing area or making some collage in the art area. She does a
wonderful job using her imagination.
