Stephen Phillips, Dennis Depew, and Carrie Barney of Memorial Bldg., 2nd Floor 120 SW 10th
Avenue Topeka, Ks 66612

Dear Committee:

Please investigate why attorneys Dennis Depew and Stephen Phillips were allowed to speak for
My Town Media in a small claims case of 15SC70P Noah Day vs. My Town Media. I would also

like to know why the attorney general's office is preparing small claims court orders for judges
when that is not the duty of the attorney general's office. I would also like to know why the
attorney general's office agrees to have ex-parte conversations with Judge Jack Burr off the
record and they do not report him for misconduct when he leaves town early and was suppose
to have court at least until 2:30 P.M. but he left town early around 11 a.m. after the assembly
line court cases took only 22 minutes to complete 4 cases including Noah Day vs. My Town
Media which Dennis Depew and Stephen Phillips had no right to comment on. I would also like
to know why the attorney general's office lied to the court and told them that they did not know
who my son's attorney Kasey King had to represent him in the federal case number of 2: 16-cv-
021 08-JAR-GLR when they had already informed him the name of the attorney Adebayo
Ogunmeno of Ogunmeno Law Firm of 155 S. 18th Street, Site 250 in KCKs 66102 to represent
Plaintiffs in federal case number 2:16-cv-02108-JAR-GLR against Kurt Loy, Lori Fleming, and My
Town Media who are the people that Dennis Depew and Stephen Phillips chose to not only
represent on April 18, 2016 but go so far in their representation to have intrud~d in a small claims
private case, have ex-parte conversations with the judge, and retaliate and lie to the judge about not
knowing their attorneys name which is a violation of "candor toward the tribunal" and misconduct
under KRPC when the attorneys name was put in their "SETTLEMENTOFFER" to attorney Stephen
Phillips.
