when damaged.
z Clean cover-fuel screen with fuel, renew de-
pending on the condition.
z Put the sealing ring (2) in position.
z Mount the cover-fuel filter with screw (1).
z Reinstall connection (4) to the fuel filter.
z Open fuel shutoff tap supply (7), start engine and
run in idle or on low load.
z Check for leaks after starting the engine.

z Charge the battery with a conventional battery
charger. Observe the manufacturer specifica-
tions!
z Screw in caps.
Installing the battery
z Insert new or charged battery and attach the fas-
tenings.
z Clean the terminals and battery poles with fine
emery paper.
z Connect the plus pole first and then the minus
pole. Otherwise there is a danger of short-circuit!
Make sure the terminals have good contact.
Tighten clamp bolts hand-tight.
z Grease the assembled terminals with an acid-
free, acid-resistant grease.
