Rubayah, the widow has a boy named Malin Kundang Kundang. Malin Kundang very dear to her since
she was small because it was left by his father. Malin Kundang was already grown up, and she felt
should be able to change the economic life of the family. One day Rashid, who is none other than a
friend Malin Kundang know that there is a large ship docked on the shore of the Sweet Water Beach,
and he intends to invite Malin Kundang to come wander with him.

Until then the child merchant named Putri came in and saw her mother's second new employee,
and apparently the daughter was also amazed by the good looks owned Malin Kundang and craft until
daughter fell in love at first sight.

Kundang. Malin Kundang and Putri relationship and closer until they were married.
 A month after the marriage, Malin Kundang and daughter went to trade in the township Sweet
Water Beach. When Malin Kundang and daughter arrived at the village, Malin Kundang met with Rasyid
who was then being dreamy on the beach.

Malin Kundang : Hi rasyid.

Rasyid : Oh Malin Kundang apparently you've had success once yes.wow you're already so rich
now. Wow .. you've become the husband of Princess .. Congratulations!
Malin Kundang : Yes Syukur Alhamdulillah. You used to work anyway lazy, so hit the stone.

lightning flashing, the vessel was shaken.

Malin Kundang : What is this ?? The storm was so big.

Suddenly lightning struck Malin Kundang.

Malin Kundang : Aaaaarccccckkkkkhhhhh ...... !!!!!!!! "

 And at that moment transformed into a stone Malin Kundang. Malin Kundang turned itself into a
rock due to have disobeyed his mother. By the way, then we should not be insubordinate towards our
parents, especially disobedience to a mother.
