FALCON

OBJECTIVE
The FALCON specialized GSM monitoring passive system is intended for
government agencies and law enforcement groups only and is intended for
passive (if system encryption is absent) or semi-active (if A5.1/A5.2 encryption
is used) monitoring of 850. GSM-900, DCS-1800, PCS-1900 standard
communication systems.

BASIC OPERATION
The main idea of this systems is to create a clone of the target’s handset, catch
it’s real radio traffic and discover information from the coded part of the session
(coded by A5.2 or A5.1 GSM algorithm).
The system usually consist of a Personal computer, a clone box unit
with omnidirectional aerial and A5.2 or A5.1 dechiper (or both of them), and
completed with combiner duplexer.

RELIABILITY

System can operate with variety of power sources such as AC supply,

batteries, car supply etc and by that, it can be installed and operated
in many types of applications and environments (fixed installation,
remote control configuration, transportable, vehicular, man pack).
