Making a good impression is always very important at the time of introducing yourself to
others, no matter if you’re talking to an employer, friend, boss, family, etc. Introduce
yourself in a correct way can open or close you doors everywhere. A well-crafted,
strong, self-introduction is a critical part of making a good first impression.
o Who are you? always be clear about who you are…asking that question to you
and remember all the good things that you had, don’t try to be somebody else.
o Who are my competitors and market? what are the abilities of the competitors
and how I can persuade my clients choose me better that the others. Understand
very well the field of action gives you the advantage over competitors.
o What are you good at? explain your capacities, experience, abilities; what
makes you different with the competence. Identify what make you different,
especially from your competitors.
o Could you prove your value? tell them about your experience. Give them some
testimonies. Testimonies are the best business card. Answer these questions in
order to build a good presentation.

I'm Bernd Schönfelder, product manager at Amitek GmbH, where I have been
working since 2001. Amitek produces parts for the automotive industry. We are
based in Munich and we are one of the largest engineering companies in Bavaria.
Before joining Amitek, I worked for a smaller engineering company in Ingolstadt. I’m
married with two children aged 4 and 8.
