THESIS PROJECT

Project and Location: Transport Museum, Noida.

Advance study topic: Interior design.

Criteria of selection: In the project “Transport Museum” spaces such as exhibits and
corridors, display galleries, and shopping spaces, auditorium, cafe etc. play a major
role. Therefore, there is a need for proper showcasing of the artifacts with the help of
interior designing of the spaces- lighting details, display areas, texture, material,
acoustic treatment etc.

Objectives:

1. To enhance aesthetical quality with convenient layout of furniture/spaces. 


2. To create ambience of the space through color combinations, textural quality,


 lighting etc. 


3. To coordinate structure and services with aesthetics. 


4. To enhance and make spaces more interactive and experimental. 


Scope of work:


1. To identify suitable indoor spaces from interior point of view.

2. To study various design elements and building materials for interior spaces such as
display areas, corridors, cafe, souvenir shops ,exhibition spaces etc.
