Hello! My name is Amanda Smith and I will be working with Mrs.

Roberson as a student teacher. I am a student at Kennesaw State

University, majoring in early childhood education. This is my first
semester in my yearlong clinical, where I will be learning how to
become a more effective teacher! In this first semester of my clinical,
I will have the opportunity to teach a few lessons to your child. These
lessons will follow the state standards and the curriculum in the
classroom. I am extremely excited to be helping your child flourish in
Kindergarten and to be a part of their classroom!

I am overjoyed to be spending part of this year in Mrs. Roberson’s

classroom with your child! I have always wanted to be a teacher
ever since I was a little girl and my dream is finally coming true!
Starting my student teaching is making me realize that I am so
much closer to having my very own classroom.

Your child plays a key role in me becoming a teacher because

they will be teaching me how to become the best teacher I can
be! If you have any questions, you can direct them towards Mrs.
