My research interests are mainly towards Sensing and Instrumentation applications.

Specifically, I am
interested in development of low cost sensors for commercial applications. I have experience in Analog
and Digital Electronics, Serial, USB and GPIB based communication. For my master research I have
worked with GaAs/AlGaAs Infrared Sensor characterization. That included IVT measurement, FTIR based
response measurement.

My research project was the Development of a Instrument setup and Automated program for
Capacitance-Voltage-Temperature(CVT) and Capacitance-Frequency-Temperature(CfT) measurement.
The setup consists of a closed cycle cryostat for sample mounting, an HP4284A LCR meter for the
capacitance measurement and a Lakeshore 330 temperature controller connected via GPIB. The
program was developed using the LabVIEW programming language.

The program consists for four measurement modes

1. Capacitance-Voltage
2. Capacitance-Frequency
3. Capacitance-Voltage-Temperature
4. Capacitance-Frequency-Temperature

The program can set the voltage and frequency sweep parameters for the LCR meter and the tolerance
and temperature sweep parameters for the temperature controller. Once the measurement is started it
will display the curve being measured in real time as well as save the data being measured to a custom
excel worksheet and save it.

In addition to the above program I have developed a Labview based program for transient noise
measurement using a SR785 dynamic signal analyzer.

Additionally, I am proficient in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems and in Matlab, Python
and C programming languages. I have experience in Microsoft Office, LaTEX typesetting software.

Also I have worked with PIC and Atmel Microcontrollers and Embedded systems such as Arduino,
Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone.
