Additional Comments: -

Issue 1: Guidance documents are very elaborate and unnecessarily detailed.

Solution: Make assignment guidance given to learners concise. The guidance should
supplement the classwork and help the learner in doing the assignment.

Issue 2: Lengthy assignment/guidance document. At times tasks to be carried out is getting

lost in the guidance.
Solution: Separating assignment brief and assignment guidance would bring more clarity. This
guidance document can be ppt, word file etc and can be uploaded in a students accessible
location.

Issue 3: Some assignment criteria, especially the D’s, have not be worded and highlighted
appropriately.
Solution: Use the taxonomy used in the business specification to define the pass, merit and
distinction criteria.

Issue 4: Format difference between assignments. Tables, student declaration, plagiarism

clause etc are missing in some assignments.
Solution: Follow a common format for all assignments. The tables, headings and structure
used in assignments should be same.
