What’s INCLUDED in your holiday price (per person)
• Cruise aboard Ovation of the Seas as selected
• Port charges and government fees for your cruise
• Gratuities to dining and cabin staff
Costs are per adult in AUD, based on twin-share accommodation.
Single prices apply to persons travelling alone and offer sole use of
cabin/room. Singapore to Melbourne passengers only: transfers to
Hobart airport and one-way economy class flight Hobart to
Melbourne are included.
Pricing is subject to availability. Cabins may have obstructed views.
Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in charges, taxes
and currency.
Prices are subject to change with or without notice, whether or not
the final balance of your holiday has been paid.
Reservations and payments
Once you have decided on your holiday, simply ask your Cruiseco
Travel Agent to book it with us. On confirmation of your booking,
a written confirmation will be sent to your Cruiseco Travel Agent.
7 Day Option: A deposit must be paid not later than seven days
after your booking. Failure to pay your deposit by the due date
may result in the cancellation of your booking. Cruiseco reserves
the right to reduce the number of days in this option closer to the
sailing date. The deposit to secure your cruise berth is as follows:
Deposit Requirements
20% of full cruise fare is due within 7 days
25% partial payment by 31 March 16
Full cruise balance due 01 August 16
Your Cruiseco Travel Agent will advise you at the time of booking,
should an additional deposit amount be required and when it is due.
Any special meal requirements will be made on a ‘request’ basis
only and cannot be guaranteed. Please advise your Cruiseco Travel
Agent of your requirements at time of booking.
What’s NOT included in your holiday price
Airfares, optional tour and transfer packages, passport and visa fees,
insurances of all kinds, laundry, phone calls, beverages, items of
a personal nature, optional excursions, etc. The price does not
cover costs and expenses, including the return to your home,
if you leave the cruise of your own volition, or due to illness,
or as a consequence of official action by the government.
Itinerary changes
Cruiseco & Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to amend
the cruise itinerary at any time up to and during the voyage.
Travel documentation
Travel documents will be sent to you approximately 14 days prior to
departure from Australia (providing full payment has been received).
If you are departing Australia earlier, please ask your Cruiseco
Travel Agent to request your travel documents in good time.
Travel insurance
We recommend that you obtain comprehensive international
travel and medical insurance before paying a deposit. Failure to
obtain travel insurance will not waive any cancellation fees in the
event that you need to cancel your trip.
Booking changes, cancellations and refunds
In the unfortunate event that you should have to cancel your holiday,
we must be notified in writing. The day that we receive this notice
in writing will be considered the date that your cancellation has
been made. Certain cancellation fees apply to your holiday, if
cancelled after a deposit or final payment has been made. These
cancellation fees will be levied by the shipping company and
possibly the airline and other suppliers, and will be greater the
closer to your travel date that you cancel. You should check
very carefully with your Cruiseco Travel Agent what these fees
are, before you make your booking.
A fee of $25 per person will be charged for any revision or alteration
made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Please note,
this does not apply to name changes or cabin downgrades, which
are considered cancellations, and normal cancellation fees apply.
Cancellations and cancellation fees
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to your Cruiseco Travel
Agent. The following scale of charges (includes G.S.T.) will apply when
notice of cancellation is given prior to holiday departure.
Number of days prior to departure as % of total price (per person):
10% of total cruise fare
for cancellations made from now until 30 Nov 2015
20% of total cruise fare
for cancellations made between 01 Dec 2015–31 Mar 2016
45% of total cruise fare
for cancellations made between 01 Apr–01 Aug 2016
100% of total cruise fare
for cancellations made after 02 Aug 2016 until departure / no show
These cancellation penalties are in addition to any cancellation
fees that may be levied by your Cruiseco Travel Agent.
Qantas Frequent Flyer points and membership
Qantas Frequent Flyer Points and complimentary Qantas Frequent
Flyer membership are awarded on Cruiseco holidays. Qantas Frequent
Flyer members will receive one Qantas Point for every $1.50 spent.
Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is complimentary for all
customers who have made final payment for their Cruiseco
holiday and are not already Qantas Frequent Flyer members.
Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is non-transferable and is not
available in conjunction with any other offer. Points are not
awarded on port charges, government fees, on board gratuities
and air taxes. Qantas Frequent Flyer membership and points are
subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer
program. This offer may be withdrawn at any time which may
occur before final payment is made.
Cruiseco’s statement of business practice
Your Cruiseco Travel Agent will provide you, on request, with a copy
of Cruiseco’s “Statement of Business Practice”.
Other conditions
It is your responsibility to ensure you have read all of the Booking
Terms and Conditions and to provide valid travel documents.
Be sure to ask your Cruiseco Travel Agent for advice concerning
passport and visa requirements. Please ask your Cruiseco Travel
Agent for a copy of these.
Booking arrangements
Your booking arrangements are to be made by your Cruiseco Travel
Agent, and the person effecting the booking shall be deemed to
have accepted the booking conditions.
