Morocco Maps

This map of Morocco illustrates how much of the land is covered by mountain ranges.

Additionally, it shows that the Sahara Desert is a major part of this countries terrain. Both of

these factors would generally be considered difficult for settlement, but the Berbers and those

that followed developed a way of life that complements such terrain.

This map illustrates Morocco’s close distance to Spain and other African countries. Morocco has

a very diverse population with influences from Spanish culture and African culture. Much of

Morocco’s population is Islamic due to the surrounding African countries. This map is meant to

show just how close these countries are to illustrate why they have such a large influence on

Moroccan culture.
