Evidence –

2. I created a new
page on
Photoshop. I made
the width longer
than the height
because my logo is
a landscape shape.

4. I typed in the text

“FIRE” and I
changed the font to
Segoe Marker.

3. I changed the colour from black

to an orange shade. This was to
match the company’s theme of
Fire.
5. I went to Filter, then Clouds. I had the foreground
and the background colour on the toolbar. One was

Photoshop. This time the height
was larger than the width.

7. I went back onto Filter, then Distort and then

Polar Coordinates. I was given the option
whether I wanted it Rectangular to Polar or
Polar to Rectangular. I chose Polar to
Rectangular.
8. It appeared like fire
and I moved it onto
my first Photoshop
document. I shrunk
it down to make
sure it fitted with
the FIRE text. The
reason why I
wanted the pattern
to look like Fire
was to match the
Company’s theme
of Fire.

9. I right clicked on the fire effect

layer and I converted it to a
Smart Object. I right clicked
on the FIRE text layer and I
clicked on Create Clipping
Mask.

10. The fire effect

became the
texture for the
FIRE text. I
moved the fire
effect around
until it the text
had a
noticeable fire
effect. I then
brought the
fire effect over
again.

11. I added a layer mask on

the fire effect and I
carefully made it look
like a flame.
12. I resized the flame so
that it would be a
similar size to my
text. I duplicated the
flame and placed
them under the FIRE
text. I edited some of
the flames so that
they would blend in
with the FIRE text.

13. I typed in the text ICE and I changed the font to Trajan
Pro. I also made the text bold.

14. I created a new page and I went to the

Gradient Tool. I selected light blue colours.
15. I chose blue colours to match the Company’s them of
Ice and I added guides of where I wanted to create a
shape.
16. I created a path that would erase parts of the gradient so there would be a triangle shape left. The
shape resembled an Icicle. The reason why I created Icicles was to match the Company’s theme of
Ice.

17. I created another path to get rid of parts of the gradient that were still left. I then moved the Icicle
to the page with the text. I shrunk it down so that it would fit under the text.
18. I brought the blue gradient back and dragged it onto the page with the text. I shrunk it down so
that the gradient would fit with the ICE text.

19. I right clicked on the blue gradient layer and I

converted it to a Smart Object. I right clicked on
the ICE text layer and I clicked on Create
Clipping Mask. The ICE text had the blue
gradient.
20. I cropped the page down so
that there wasn’t too much
space.

I saved it in the folder that I wanted

to keep it in.

Aim – Annotate the screenshots taken.
