Protecting the world’s most pressing threats to our biodiversity found on Earth.

1. Visit the WWF website: https://www.worldwildlife.org/ and select the

drop down tab for species and select the endangered species tab. Go
through the “species directory” and select animals from the list of
critically endangered, endangered or vulnerable in the extinction risk.
Rank your 3 choices based on your interest levels and personal curiosity
of their present situation. Each student will have a different topic.

2. Construct a power point using google slides with the following

information on your selected animal. Include a picture of this animal, list
ten current facts about this animal, a map of where it can be located
today and describe its habitat.

3. Explain why it matters that we help protect this animal and its impact on
the ecosystem that it exists in today.

4. Find an interesting story on your protected animal and describe how we

are helping in their survival.

5. Select the 2 main threats that this animal faces and explain how this has
led to changes for protecting this specie.

6. Describe 3 things that WWF is currently doing to protect this endangered

animal.

7. Give me one suggestion that you could do to help in the protection of this
animal today.

8. Submit your power point to google classroom and we will present our
finding to the class next week.
