Poetry Literary Devices
Using the Book Creator website (https://app.bookcreator.com/sign-
in/student/provider), make an eBook portfolio to showcase your work from the first
two weeks of term, on the literary devices found in poetry.

You will be given one and half lessons to work on your book.
The teacher will provide a demonstration on how to use Book Creator and will be
available to assist at any time. An example of the layout and instructions on how to
use Book Creator will be provided on the weebly.

Due Date is Monday 21st of May

Your book is to be saved in the class Book Creator library by this date

Your eBook portfolio needs to include…

 Personification sentence examples (two minimum).
 Your group onomatopoeia word cloud
picture and the link.
 Alliteration, Assonance, Consonance
examples (at least one each).
 Your tongue twister example/s, including the
live link to Blabberize.
 Your Storyboard That poem demonstrating
humour and/or parody.
 Minimum of two examples each of Figure 1: https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-reading-a-book-256546/

metaphors and similes.

Use pictures that relate or demonstrate or bring to life your examples! You can draw and
scan in pictures if you prefer.
** TIP – For top marks write the definitions in your own words and explain your examples.
