Accountingpolicies
Basis ofpreparation of the accounts

The financialstatements have been prepared in accordance with the FinancialReporting Standard
forSmallerEntities(FRSSE),effective January 2007,and aIIotherapplicable accounting standards,as
modi fied by the 2005 Revision ofthe Statement of Recommended Practice forAccounting and
Reporting issued by the Charity Com missionersforEngland & W ales,effective April2005,adapted to
meetthe needs ofunincorporated organisations .The accounts have been drawn up in accordance
w ith the provisionsofthe CharitiesActs,and include the resultsofthe charity'soperationswhich are
described in the Trustees'Report,aIIofwhich are continuing.

Insofar as the Statement of Recommended Practice for Accounting and Reporting issued by the
Charity Comm issionersforEngland & W ales,effective April2005 requirescom pliance with specific
FinancialReporting Standardsotherthan the FRSSE then the specific FinancialReporting Standards
have been followed w here theirrequirementsdifferfrom those ofthe FRSSE.

The charity hastaken advantage ofthe exemption in the FRSSE from the requirementto produce a
cash flow statement.

The particularaccounting policiesadopted are setoutbelow.

Accounting convention
The financialstatementsare prepared,on a going concern basis,underthe historicalcostconvention.

lncom ing Resources

Incom ing resources are accounted foron a receivable basis.

Recognition ofIiabilities
Li
abilities are recognised on the accruals basis in accordance w ith normalaccounting principles,
modified where necessary in accordance with the guidance given in the StatementofRecommended
PracticeforAccountingand Reporting (effectiveApril2005) issued bythe Charity Comm issionersfor
England & W ales.

Taxation
Asa registered charity,the com pany isexem ptfrom income and corporation tax to the extentthatits
income and gainsare applicable to charitable purposes [Link] Added Tax isnotrecoverable by
the company ,and istherefore included in the relevantcostsinthe StatementofFinancialActivities
