GOAL

How to personalize the worklist to show only To Do Notifications for appraisals?
 

SOLUTION

You can do so using function 'WF_WORKLIST_CUSTOM' (User Function Name is 'Personal Worklist').

You can optionally give users access to the 'Personal Worklist' page from any responsibility you choose. To make a
page available 
from a particular responsibility, add the appropriate function to the menu associated with that responsibility.

Once you have this function available, then the Search Page can be personalized to what kind of notifications should be
chosen.

Please follow below steps to do so:
1. Click on button ‘Personalize’.
2. Next page is ‘Personalize Views’. Here select ‘To Do Notifications’ and click on ‘Duplicate’ button.
3. Next page is ‘Duplicate View’. In this page enter a new name for the view.
4. Next, scroll down the page. At the bottom of the page under section ‘Advanced Search’, select ‘Subject’ for option
‘Add Another’ and click on ‘Add’.
5. Then the ‘Subject’ will get added.
6. Next, select option ‘starts with’ from the LOV for ‘Subject’ and enter the text ‘Appraisal for’ as shown below. Then
click on ‘Apply’ button.
7. Next, you are taken back to the page ‘Personalize Views’. Here, you select your view and click on ‘Apply’ button.
8. Then you will be taken back to ‘Worklist’. Here you can select the newly created view and click on ‘Go’ button. 
    Now it should show only those notifications which you want.
