Relationship Psychosocial Support Nurses Against Anxiety Level Pre-Patient

Operations in RSUD Kota Bogor

Abstrac

Surgery is an action aimed at the therapeutic process or for the diagnostic process,
many of which have anxiety surgery on the patient. This study aims to determine
the effect of psychosocial support of nurses on preoperative patient anxiety level in
RSUD Kota Bogor. This research uses descriptive correlation method. The sample
of this research is pre operation patient at RSUD Kota Bogor 215 people, data
collection is done using questionnaire processed through editing process, coding,
tabulating, scoring. Data analysis was done by chy squere. The result of
psychosocial support to decreased anxiety level compared with psychosocial
support with p value (0.043) with result value ≤ 0.05, it shows that there is influence
of psychosocial support with anxiety level. The conclusion of this research is there
is relationship of psychosocial support to anxiety level at patient of pre operation in
RSUD Kota Bogor. It is recommended to conduct continuous and measurable
evaluation and monitoring of the nurse's ability in the implementation of
psychosocial support in preoperative patients.
