1. Open command prompt

2. Type the following: cd C:\opt\tomcat
3. Type of the following: start start-sakai.bat
4. Wait 2-3- minutes while the files load
5. Type the following in Google Chrome browser address bar: localhost:8080/portal
6. When you're done, open command prompt
7. Type the following: cd C:\opt\tomcat
8. Type of the following: start stop-sakai.bat
