MISSING PERIOD

Two months ago, Mrs. Ferti had her last menstrual period. Before being married, her
menstrual cycles were regular every 28 – 30 days. Last week, she began to have
morning sickness and her hCG urine test was positive. Then she went to an
obstetrician to have a physical and and ultrasound examination. The doctor showed
her the embryo picture on the monitor, and also the baby’s heartbeat. The doctor
concluded that the embryo was normal, but the sex could not be identified yet. Mrs.
Ferti feared that she would have a miscarriage or that the baby would have
congenital anomalies. She asked for some reading materials and advice to prevent
abortion and congenital anomalies.

anomali bawaan.
