Proposal for Christmas 365 FM:

I am producing Christmas 365 FM because it provides Christmas news and music for
people who enjoy Christmas all year round. People enjoy Christmas, not just when
there is snow covering the roads. So, this radio station will provide people with
Christmas all year round. It appeals to the people who love Christmas but feel silly
listening to it all the time so this would also beat the rumour that listening to Christmas
music before December 1st is a bad thing.
There isn’t a specific genre of this radio station. If it has a genre it would probably be
Seasonal or Christmas. Some of the music and news broadcasted might not be
Christmas themed but most it will be. Like at Halloween, a few Halloween themed songs
will be played so that the viewers don’t get bored because there are only so many
Christmas songs you can play without it becoming repetitive. Everyone loves Christmas
songs but there a few that aren’t great and playing the same one’s day in day out would
become slightly irritating. So making a variety of songs play on the radio would benefit
the viewing count. I chose this genre because I find that people are mostly happy
around the time of Christmas because of the music and the joy and the traditions linked
to the season itself. And I find that I am happy around this season so I would like to
influence that onto other people to make them happy all year round rather than in just
one season because of how happy everyone is in this time of the year.
