SUBJECT: Narrative Report on the Seminar/Competition of Robocup

in Asia Pacific College attended by Muntinlupa Business High School
Muntinlupa Business High School-Main attended Robocup’s seminar and competition at
Asia Pacific College on January 27 and February 2, 2018. The welcome and opening
remark was given by Engr. Einstein Yong, Professor of Engineering. He also gave the
mechanics and criteria for the said contest. The seminar and the competition were
attended by different schools including Senior High Schools and students here in NCR.

On the 1st day of the seminar, the Robocup’s master oriented the students on the
policies and guidelines in assembling the robot as well as the mechanics of the
competition. Muntinlupa Business High School students were able to understand the
mechanics by the help of their coach Mr. Leody Cerenio. Their coach was able to help
them on how to connect all the parts of the robot so that it will move. The students
focused on training and familiarizing the different parts, its features and differences of
the robot. Thus, the preparation for the competition side by side the selection and
training of individual contestants started.

During the contest proper, the robocup’s master gave some time for the participants to
reassemble all the parts that are not working. As the competition started, different
school shows their amazing talent in terms of controlling the robot. The mechanics is to
lift up the different size of box and put it on the circle. In the end of the contest two
schools won the said contest and they will proceed to the final competition. Then, the
awarding finally arrived and the closing remark was also given by Engr. Einstein Yong.
