Dear Mr. Halbach:

I have always dreamt about going into a career in nursing, and I believe that being a CNA at
your facility would help me pursue my degree nursing. I first heard about this job when my
brother was hired there. He has now been employed at this facility for about 2 years now. The
reason that I waited so long was because I had to get my CNA certification. I believe that I am
qualified for this job because I am responsible, caring, loving and I love what a CNA does.

I have my certification to be a CNA. I easily passed my written exam and got through my skills
portion. I am a great student and work hard for what I want. I take challenging classes to further
my knowledge for my future career such as medical terminology. I also believe that I met the
physical demands of this job.

Another qualification that is very important that I posses is that I am very reliable. I will be on
time to work, be kind and friendly with the residents and do what is best for them. Some other
jobs that I have had include detasseling and being a lifeguard. I have had excellent experience
at both of these places of work, I was never late and did my job at both of these places.
