Abstrak

The government has many programs of development plans that must be

realized for the development towards a better and more sustainable. One program
plan should be realized that the provision of green open space in every city. Apart
from the spatial problem, the actual provision of green open space is also very
influential on development financing. Therefore, the government needs to involve
other parties to realize the full provision and management of open spaces. One
party that can assist government in the provision and management of green open
space that is private. Public Private Partnership is a model of cooperation
between the government and the private sector. Bandung City Government has
implemented the model in the provision of Thematic Park Vanda. The park was
built through cooperation between the Government of Bandung City and Private
Parties, namely PT. Summarecon Agung Tbk., PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia and
BMPD Jawa Barat.
This study will examine related to the cooperation of the Government of
Bandung City by Private Party in the procurement and management of Thematic
Park Vanda. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of cooperation
between the Government of Bandung City and private parties involved to be more
effective and efficient, especially in the reception benefit more balanced and equal
between the stakeholders involved in the procurement and management of
cooperation in the Thematic Park Vanda. This study uses qualitative descriptive
methode with the explorative approach.
The results of this study indicate that factors that need to be corrected in
the Thematic Park Vanda management cooperation is the need for a new policy in
Bandung, which is devoted to Public Private Partnership in order to become a
reference for the Public Private partnership is sustainable. Besides the things that
need to be improved in such cooperation is the need for a special team of business
for Parks Vanda, and benefit-sharing balance between the Government and the
private sector.
