To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is to inform you of the work ethic, talents, and abilities of Aaminah Durham. She did
a field experience in my classroom from January- May of 2017. Aaminah has a natural born self
confidence that shines in the classroom. I have been teaching for 21 years, and have had
multiple student teachers. Aaminah is one of the best I have seen.

The first time I saw Aaminah teach a lesson, I was impressed at the ease she exhibited with
instruction, classroom management, and student rapport. Her natural abilities were evident.
She did a unit on fractions in my classroom. She was able to independently plan lessons,and
teach them successfully. She was also very open to suggestions and feedback.

Aaminah is very friendly, easy to work with, and self confident. She will be an asset to any
school that she works at. I feel that her background with teaching music, and tutoring will also
serve her well in a classroom.

I highly recommend Aaminah Durham for a teaching position without reserve. Her work ethic,
talents, abilities, and people skills will make her a wonderful addition to any staff.
