E-HALKHATA VERSION 1.0

After almost one and a half month of the development at ENSO the small inventory management system designed
for computer shop was completed and released on 16 th August 2010 with brand name “e-Halkhata” code name
“ESIMS – ENSO Small Inventory Management System”. The product is already on the market.

OUTLINE

 The product installation CD contains product installer which installs and creates all the necessary
software and database configuration on Installation
 The installation disk also contain Basic User Manual
 The product is built-in 15days trial license which will register and activate automatically on first
time install
 On trial version no report generating or printing can be done
 After trial period is over software cannot be used
 If someone reinstall the product previous license files remains
 If the trial license files are deleted or the product reinstalled the existing database was deleted
and reconstructed on every trial version install
 Once the license is changed to a full version license brought from ENSO and activated with a
Request code along with a Respond code provided by ENSO the product will be fully activated
and expire date will be reset to the date provided with license key. On full version activation the
product will be fully accessible and usable.

SUMMARY

DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM

1. The product is developed using Microsoft .Net 2.0 platform

2. The target OS for the platform is Windows and minimum Windows XP Service Pack 2 is required
3. The product is developed with Visual Basic .NET with Visual Studio 2005 IDE
4. As a backend database server SQL Server 2005 Express Edition is used which is free edition of SQL
Server
5. For reporting Crystal Report 2005 for .NET 2.0 is used with a free redistributable license
6. The GUI was designed and enhanced by the cutting edge free controls “DevExpress 8.0” provided by
DevExpress Ltd. and distributed with the installation package
7. The installer was made with free portable version of Advance Installer 7.0 and no license requited or
no 3rd party brand name was integrated
STATUS: DEPLOYED

1. E-Halkhata was bugged free, tested and released by 16 th August 2010

2. The product was made ready for easy deployment with an automatic installer with all the necessary
pre-requisites.
3. The installation procedure was made free of any critical user response dependency i.e. all the
important settings during the installation procedure is automated without requiring any user
response except some click on “Next” button to proceed.
4. 5 pieces of the product was already distributed to the market at “Novo Int.” to “Munna Vai” as stand-
alone Installer CD with brand Cover Page.

5. Installation CD also included a full detail Basic User Manual and “Readme” for pre-install instruction
6. Installation CD also included a detail license agreement

After deployment of the first version the development of second version was immediately started. Two important
changes will be made on the second version. One is the product will be an online-version and the other is it will be
all small types of inventory i.e. a general version for all.

OUTLINE

 The product is divided in two phases

o Portable web-server based desktop edition
o Cloud based deployment
 Any company intended to use the product will buy or register online
 On registration a unique database will create along with a Admin user account
 All the product functionality will be through web brows
 The date of beta release was fixed at September 25 2010
 Full product release will be by October 2010 after beta testing
