DI Interface Card Overview

The TRACKLINK® HSD10000 Digital Input
Interface Card provides marshalling and
protection for the PLC Digital Input Module.
Supplied with standard 32 individual isolated
channels, each marshalling terminal is fitted with
an isolation link and LED for active indication.
Connection between the PLC and the interface
card is via a dedicated multicore cable. The
interface card can be connected to the plant
equipment using either dedicated field supplies or
the use of a wetting supply.
The card is fitted with power monitoring fault
relays to indicate power failure on the card and is
fuse protected.
The TRACKLINK® HSD10000 Card is DIN rail
mounted. Each input is suitable for operation
across the full anticipated range of a nominal
48Vdc battery supply.

The card is equipped with terminals for optional

supply feeds for Volt-Free Contact alarm switches
in the field. The feeds are fused on the card with
a common fuse.

All field terminals include an isolation device to

enable local isolation of individual alarm / digital
inputs.
