Description of Proposal: To develop a barite crushing plant in the Rural S-acre zone, Proposed uses
and activities that may occur include tock crushing, plant operations, truck transportation of materials, and
stockpiling of materials. The mine will be located at 1581 Dead Medicine Road, Evans, WA within a RA
20 zone where extractive industries are a permitted use. The ming plant will be located at 113 3° St
within the City of Northport, which is outside of Stevens County jurisdiction
Location of Proposal: On the North side of the Columbia River, and North of old State Highway No. 22
West of Hwy 25 N off of Sheep Creek Road, Northport. The project location is further described as being
located within the NE % of Section 36, Township 40 N, Range 39 E.W.M, in Stevens County
Washington. Address: 4300 Block Sheep Creek Rd, Northport, WA.
