Gentlemen:
Four subsurface samples were collected from the subject well on June 2, 1977
by a representative of Core Laboratories, Inc. These samples were subse-
quently forwarded to our Dallas laboratory where a partial reservoir fluid
study was performed using one of these samples. The results of this study
are presented in this report.
Upon arrival in the laboratory the bubble point pressure of each individual
sample was measured at 70°F, The values obtained were 3, 350 psig, 3,340
psig, 3, 080 psig and 3, 075 psig in cylinders SS 315, SS 154, SS 475 and SS 90,
respectively. The sample contained in cylinder SS 315 was selected for use
in the partial reservoir fluid study.
A portion of the reservoir fluid was charged to low temperature fractional
distillation equipment to determine its hydrocarbon composition. The re-
sulting data is presented on page two.
The reservoir fluid was examined in a high pressure visual cell which had
been heated to 120°C where the fluid was found to exist as a single phase oil
above 4,261 psig where the bubble point was determined. The results of
constant composition expansion pressure-volume relations are presented on
page three.
The reservoir fluid was subjected to a constant volume depletion where the
shrinkage of the liquid phase was measured. The residual liquid volume atPetroleos Mexicanos Page Two

atmospheric pressure and 120°C occupied 53. 8% of the hydrocarbon pore
space. This is the equivalent of 2. 056 barrels of oil at the saturation pres-
sure and 120°C per barrel of residual oil at 15.6 The gravity of the
residual oil was 34. 0°API at 15.6°C.
We wish to thank Petroleos Mexicanos for this opportunity to be of service.
If you should have any questions regarding these data or if we may be of
further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
Very truly yours
